SHIPPING & DELIVERY
All orders will be shipped within 2-3 working days of purchase via Royal Mail. This excludes preorder items or subscriptions.
Subscriptions purchased before 23rd of the month are shipped on the last working day of that month. Subscriptions purchased after this date are shipped on the last working day of the following month.
Preorder items will be sent as close to release date as possible. Please check individual product pages for more information.

SUBSCRIPTIONS
Your monthly Words & Kisses subscription includes the very best recently published romance books, tailored to your tastes.
Perfect for people who love their books to have swoony moments, dazzling kisses and happy ever afters.
All books will be sent on the last shipping day of the month and orders must be made before the 23rd of the previous month (e.g. by 23rd August for the 31st August shipment).
When will I get my first book?
If you sign up before the 23rd of the month, your first book will be sent on the last day the next month.
If you order after the 23rd of the month, your subscription will begin in the new month and we’ll send your book out on the last day the following month.
When will my next book be sent?
Subscriptions are sent out on the last day of each month so will arrive in your postbox a few days later.
When will I be charged?
Your first order will be charged at point of purchase.
Subscriptions renew on the 1st of every month
If you order before 23rd of the month, your next charge will be on the 1st of the following month.
If you order after the 23rd of the month, your next charge will be on the 1st of the month after that. This prevents you from being charged twice for the same month's subscription.
Can I choose the books myself?
No, that’s our job! Don’t worry, we’ll only send you the very best romance novels, guaranteed to make you fall in love.
I already own this book. Help!
Oh no! Our selections are recently published to try and avoid you receiving a book that you’ve already read. However, if you do happen to own the book this month, just drop us an email and we’ll arrange to swap it for another one, free of charge.
Please note: we can only cover shipping for swaps for UK customers; we are happy to swap your book if you are an international subscriber but an additional postage charge will apply.
My book hasn’t arrived! What should I do?
Don’t worry! Just drop us an email and we’ll arrange for a new book to be sent to you.
Will the parcel fit through my letterbox?
Subscriptions for one book per month will fit through your letterbox. Our two book subscriptions may not be able to fit through the letterbox, depending on the picks for the month.
Will the books be hardback or paperback?
Most of the books sent will be paperback.
Can I skip a delivery?
Drop us an email and we’ll see what we can do!
Is postage included?
UK postage (via Royal Mail) is included in the cost of your subscription. Hooray! For overseas customers, postage costs will be added at checkout.
When do I pay?
For the 3, 6 and 12 month subscription packages, you’ll pay the full cost upfront. For rolling monthly subscriptions, you’ll be billed monthly on the 1st of each month.
Do you deliver abroad?
Yep! You can choose your shipping option at checkout, and your parcel should take 5-7 working days to arrive.
Can I buy a subscription as a gift?
Of course! You’re such a great friend. Just enter their delivery details at checkout.
Can I cancel my order?
We hate break-ups, but if you do want to leave then just email us at hello@wordsandkisses.com and we’ll arrange a refund for your remaining months.
You can cancel your subscription at any time, but if you do so after the 23rd, you may still be charged and will receive the following month’s book.
